Round The County sailboat race from a racer's perspective, Saturday on J109 Hravn. Only one moment of slow-motion.... This year the fleet of 120ish boats circled the San Juan Islands archipelago in Washington State clockwise. Alas the light wind forecast turned into reality and many boats, including the mighty J109 Hravn from Bellingham WA withdrew along with most of the sail boats in our division, because the wind was so soft that mathematically we could not complete the race before the cut-off time. The first section of video is shot on new GoPro Hero 11 mini, which i either locked up or ran out of battery before switching to the excellent Google Pixel 6 Pro mobile phone video camera.
