Spinnaker start is worth the watch with J109 Hravn scooting across starting line on port tack well ahead of the pack. It was a lite wind day but enough to sail from the Outfall Buoy to the far side of Vendovi Island in about 2 Hours. Intuition played the shore well to reduce adverse current and rounded Vendovi Island well ahead ahead, followed by Hravn, with Strider close behind. After a few beautiful close crossings (see video!) along the Chuckanut shoreline, Strider sailed into #2 position, in front of Hravn and Keet--a rebuilt J33 that sails very well in light air and is often double-handed (Capt Mike Powell and Tom Malone for this race) over the line fourth before PHRF Handicapping (see below for corrected-time race results) Thanks to the Bellingham Yacht Club for organizing and after-race cheer.
